This AFC Grease is a high-speed micro-vibration grease developed with a urea-based consistency enhancer using high-grade synthetic oil as the base oil, while also featuring special additives which gives it excellent fretting resistance. The grease offers superior anti-wear characteristics to prevent wear at the asperities of contact surfaces. The oil has a good viscosity index and low pour point so that temperature-related viscosity change is low. Accordingly, this product functions well through a wide range of temperatures and helps prevent corrosion through its advanced anti-corrosion properties. This lubricant minimizes friction, reduces torque, increases efficiency, and extends life. The AFC Grease maintains low friction of ball screw assemblies by minimizing the rolling resistance between balls and grooves and sliding friction between adjacent balls. The oil comes in a platic bottle with labelling information and can be used in the assemblies of GE's Revolution CT, Discovery ST, Discovery ST (4,8 & 16 Slice) PET/CT systems. This item will be shipped in suitable packaging to give adequate protection during transit.
