A Potentiometer is a three-terminal variable resistor. It can be adjusted manually. It is a 10-turn potential. It comes as a part of the collimator in a radiography system. The longitudinal feedback pot assembly consists of a wire wound precision potentiometer, hook-up wire, heat shrink tubing and sleeves, wire label and markers with a cable tie to club all the wires together. The 10 turn wire wound, 2 KΩ linearity tape potentiometer has 1/4""shaft diameter and 3/8"" bushing diameter. The assembly has 22 AWG, seven strands tinned copper hook-up wire to make connectivity between the potentiometer and end terminals. Heat-shrink tubing is provided to insulate wires. It also provides abrasion resistance and protection to the conductor and terminals. The assembly also includes flat heat-shrinkable identification tubing made from durable, flame retarded, heat-shrinkable polyolefin.
